A teapot in a lustrous vermilion glaze, set off by a black lid. Its rounded, flat form leaves room for the leaves to open slowly in the water. Simply placed on the table, the striking vermilion becomes the centerpiece of the tea setting. Paired with white porcelain cups or walnut-colored saucers, the red stands out even more. Fired at over 1,300°C for a fine, smooth glaze.
